1. Please submit the revisions for the 3 poems that you submitted for the workshop. 2. You must submit an original draft AND a revised draft. The revised draft should show the revisions by highlighting the revised areas. 3. You must include a 1/2-1 page reflections stating what you revised and why you revised. 3. Your revised draft show some demonstrable change from your original draft. Revision is not to be confused with editing. You are not simply looking for punctuation and spelling mistakes. Because most of the work you submit in this class is in draft form, your revisions should show significant signs of change. This may mean finishing a piece, reorganizing it, adding material, cutting material, changing form, changing point of view or even changing genre. As a general rule, there should be a 30% revision. 90 percent of writing happens in revision, so keep that in mind before you hit submit.
